DESCRIPTION:We’re hosting a second book club after hearing from several people who weren’t able to attend the first and asked for another opportunity to join. \nThis will be a relaxed\, low-pressure gathering—whether you’ve finished the book\, just started\, or simply want to listen in\, you’re welcome. \nApril 30th\, 2026 at 7:00 PM ET\, 4:00 PM PT. \nRegister for the meeting \nLearn more about Stroke Pizza and how to get the book for free here. \nStroke Pizza is a collection of short stories written by members of the cavernous malformation (CCM) community. \nIn 2025\, as Rare Disease Day approached\, a small group of patients and caregivers began searching for a rare disease anthology that included CCM. When they couldn’t find one\, they decided to create their own. Over the course of a year\, participants met monthly to write\, share\, revise\, and encourage one another — transforming a book club idea into a meaningful writing project. \nThe result is a compilation of honest\, varied\, and deeply personal stories about living with CCM — stories that explore resilience\, humor\, loss\, adaptation\, and the unexpected moments that shape life with a rare neurovascular condition. \n
