Riley Children’s Health is a national destination for pediatric care, serving children and families across Indiana and beyond. Riley Children’s combines specialized pediatric expertise with advanced research and technology through Indiana University School of Medicine. For children with cavernous malformations (cavernomas), our team offers comprehensive evaluation and management supported by multidisciplinary pediatric and adult neurovascular expertise, advanced MRI imaging and diagnostic capabilities, and experience caring for both incidental and complex lesions. Each patient receives a personalized treatment plan focused on safety, long-term outcomes and quality of life.

The nationally ranked Neurosurgery program at Riley Children’s provides access to specialized expertise and resources unmatched in Indiana. Our team uses advanced neuroimaging and diagnostic tools to accurately assess cavernous malformations and determine the most appropriate treatment approach. Whether monitoring an asymptomatic lesion, managing seizures or neurological symptoms, or evaluating the need for surgery, our specialists work together to provide comprehensive care tailored to each child’s condition.
