Host a Fundraising Event
“If you want good things to happen, you must be part of making them happen. A cure starts with us!” -Julie DeMichiel, organizer of the successful Alliance to Cure Torrington Wine Tasting (for 10 years!)
Community fundraisers play a vital role in driving a cure and improving lives for all affected by CCM.
Members have organized runs, walks, beer and wine tastings, and wine auctions. They have organized golf tournaments, paint nights, and benefit concerts. They have sent letters to family and friends to request donations instead of birthday or anniversary gifts. The sky’s the limit!
Not sure how to get started? Fill out this form and we’ll reach out to help you get started! You can also contact lindsay@alliancetocure.org, and we can brainstorm together. We can help you succeed with your event by recruiting committee members, creating an event registration page, providing flyers and templates, and helping get the word out!
We ask all event hosts to review, sign, and return this Event Host Agreement 30 days before your event.
We look forward to hearing from you!
Other ways to fundraise
Set up an online page through Network for Good
Alliance to Cure Cavernous Malformation uses Network for Good as a fundraising platform where you can create an online fundraiser. You can make your own page and share it with family and friends. Email lindsay@alliancetocure.org to create a page.
Facebook Fundraisers
Many of our members take advantage of the opportunity Facebook offers to set up a birthday fundraiser. But why wait for your birthday? You can set up a Facebook fundraiser to recognize an anniversary, Rare Disease Day, Cavernous Malformation Awareness Month, or any significant event. 100% of the funds donated on Facebook come to us.
